Hi Cristian,
I hope all is well there in Ensendada.
To answer your question about living alone, well the answer is yes and no. I have not lived with my parents since I was 18, so that has been like 16 years that I have been living from home. I bought my house in Indianapolis Indiana back in 2005. I am the only one who lives in that house. Here in Mississippi I am sharing an apartment with my sister, her husband, and their two kids. My brother in law (the husband of my sister) and I both work for the same company.

My favorite food is tacos from a place in Mexicali called "tacos de yubi". My other favorite food is tapas. There is a restaurant in Chicago called Cafe Bareeba and they serve pulpo con papas and it is buenisimo!

You asked me about life in Mississippi. Well life in Mississippi is a lot slower than what I am used. For the most part the people are very nice and very friendly. However, they don't have a lot of the amenities that we have in Indianapolis. There are not too many fitness trails, there are not a lot of nice places to go shopping, and people just like doing things that I don't care to do. For example, everybody in Mississippi likes to hunt. They like to hunt deer, they like to hunt turkeys, they like to birds, the like to hunt wild pigs. If you can aim a gun at it and kill it, they like to hunt it.
A lot of the people seem to be similar to what you say in Spanish..........nacos!

Hi Cristian,
My name is Bryon, it is an uncommon way to spell that name. Most times my name is spelled Brian (like brain)
It is true that we don't know each other, but like you said over the next two weeks we will get to know each other better.
I am 34 years old (so I am older than your teacher, but not by much). I am from Indianapolis, Indiana. Indianapolis is about 2.5 hours from Chicago. However; right now I am living and working in the state of Mississippi.
These days I spend most of my days working. The project I am working on now calls for us to work 6 days a week 10 hours a day + drive time to work. When I am not working I enjoy going to the gym and bicycle ridding. On the weekends I liketo go to coffee shops and book stores. I used to party all of the time when I was younger, but that was a long long time ago. As a matter of fact I visited Papas Y Beer several years ago with on of my friends.

I like to listen to music when I have time. I like most genres of English music with my favorite types being alternative/grunge (music that was popular when I was in college), and some flavors of R&B. I also listen to some Latin music such as Mana, Nicho, Reik, Sin Bandera, Arjona, and Shakira.
When I go to cafes I like to read, mainly books about Economics, or about Spanish. I just bought three books about Spanish off of Amazon.com. I just received them last week so I haven't had much of a chance to read through them.

Don't worry about not knowing what to ask me or to tell me about yourself; I am sure we will find a topic that we can both talk about.

To be honest, I am not 100% sure why Ms Calderon chose me to be your friend; but I am going to say it is because for the most part it I think it is because she has good taste. ja ja

Me as a person, I am witty, I like to crack(make) jokes with my friends, and for the most part I am a pretty likable guy.

I am going to let you go for now, but before I do I am going to give you a topic for your next email.

Ensenada:
Tell me about the city you live in. What do you like the most about Ensenda? What don't you like about Ensenada? Where is your favorite place to go eat?
